Probation Violation Bail Bonds in Winston-Salem

Around The Clock Bail Bonds provides probation violation bail bond services in Winston-Salem. When someone is arrested for a probation violation, the process branches in one of two directions, and knowing which one applies makes a big difference in how quickly they can get home.

  1. In most cases, a judicial official at the Forsyth County Detention Center sets conditions of release the same way as any other charge, and bond can typically be posted right away.
  2. If the judicial official decides the person poses a danger to the public, release must be denied. In that case, a preliminary hearing has to happen within seven working days to review the alleged violation, and the person stays in custody until then unless that hearing changes things.

Which path applies depends on the judicial official’s assessment at the time, not on the underlying charge that led to probation in the first place. Winston-Salem is home to several NC Community Supervision probation and parole offices, reflecting how many people locally are on probation at any given time and how often these arrests come through the system here. Call us and we’ll find out where your loved one’s case stands.

How Probation Violation Bail Bonds Work

When bond is available for a probation violation, getting your loved one out of the Forsyth County Detention Center follows the same steps as most other charges.

  • Arrest and booking happen first. Your loved one is taken to the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center in downtown Winston-Salem, where booking is completed and a judicial official decides whether release is available.
  • Confirm the details before calling. It helps to have their full name, booking number if available, and the bond amount ready when you reach out to us.
  • You call Around The Clock Bail Bonds. We answer 24/7, walk you through your options, and start the paperwork right away once bond is set.
  • The bond is posted. Once paperwork is complete, we submit the bond to the detention facility so processing can begin.
  • Release follows. Timing depends on staffing and booking volume at the facility, but we stay in contact throughout so you’re never left guessing.

AMAZING!!! We looked for days for a bail bondsman that would work with us to bring our loved one home. After many calls and unfortunately many heartbreaking let downs, we were able to speak with Jordan and David. They were our miracle that we had been praying so hard for. Within 4 hours of speaking with them we were able to bring him home, the day before thanksgiving I might add! I can not be more grateful for the services I received. He explained what I needed, worked with my family to make sure we could make it happen that day. 5 stars just isn’t enough for what they have done for my family. If I ever find myself or anyone else in need of a bonds man I without a doubt am recommending around the clock bail bonds!
I can not thank y’all enough!!!

I contacted Around The Clock this morning and bondsman Jordan was quick to answer and help me through my concerns and questions (my first time using a bondsman service). He even texted me his personal cell phone number for even faster service. He was courteous and professional and almost immediately got his agent Aubrey connected to assist me. Aubrey was sooo awesome! Very friendly, smiley, knowledgeable and professional and she answered all my questions and worked in a super timely fashion! She stuck it out with me to the end. I couldn't be more pleased with Around The Clock Bail Bonds! Amazing service! A+++++

Honestly, 5 stars just isn’t enough to express how great of a pleasure it was to work with Jordan! Jordan responded quickly, told me what he was capable of doing for my family and he did just that! Jordan arrived to the jailhouse before my family and I. Jordan was prepared with the needed documentation, he was knowledgeable and made the experience stress free! Jordan gave my family a sense of compassion and support while explaining the process moving forward. Jordan was extremely professional yet down to earth which was enjoyable and gave us a bit of relief. Jordan took the time out to speak with my brother who had been incarcerated, giving him support and guidance moving forward. It was obvious that Jordan took on this line of work simply because he has a heart for helping others rather than just looking for a way to gain from them. Although I hope my family is never in need of a bondsman in the near future, I’d never call anyone else other than Jordan to help us out! Jordan thank you so very much for all of your help and continued support!!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Bond Always Available After a Probation Violation Arrest?
Not always. If a judicial official finds the person poses a danger to the public, bond is denied and they're held until a preliminary hearing, which must happen within seven working days. Otherwise, bond is usually set the same way as any other charge.
What Happens if No Bond Is Set?
The person stays in custody until a preliminary hearing reviews whether there's probable cause for the alleged violation. If that hearing doesn't happen in time and the person hasn't been found a danger to the public, they must be released to continue on probation.
Does the Original Charge Affect Whether Bond Is Available Now?
Not directly. The decision comes down to whether the judicial official believes the person is currently a danger to the public, not the nature of the original offense that led to probation. Call us and we'll help you find out where things stand.
What Do I Need Before Calling About a Winston-Salem Probation Violation Arrest?
Have the person's full name, their booking number if available, and the bond amount if one has been set. If you're not sure whether bond is available yet, call us anyway and we'll help you find out.
